1st Birthday Party

I still can’t believe that our girl is ONE! Time is a thief. Those 12 months flew by and planning her party was so sweet. I wanted to do a theme that was cute, girly and fun, but also simple and didn’t require a ton. Her birthday is in January so it’s not always the best weather (should be fun as she gets older) but we made it a fun & bright day with the cold weather! Sharing all the details of her party in this post and you can download her invitation to edit and order for your little ones birthday.

Daisy Cake

This was supposed to be her smash cake & it’s so cute but Brynleigh absolutely hated it and wouldn’t touch it!

If you want a good laugh, watch this video of Brynleigh not being a fan (at all) of her smash cake. Next birthday she’s getting a cupcake. Below is the sweets table. We did vanilla cupcakes with pink icing and chocolate icing, chocolate dipped pretzels, rice krispee treats and the cutest cake pops (that were so delicious).

For actual food we had fruit, cheese, meatball and pinwheel sandwiches from Sam’s! Like I said, super simple party to celebrate our girl & making it through our first year as parents. It’s really a party for all 3 of us, right?

Brynleigh’s outfit was so cute!
