St. Patrick’s Day Crafts for Toddlers

Before I became a mom I didn’t care much for holidays lie Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day. But, now there is something so fun about celebrating all the little things with your toddler. These holidays give us more crafts to do, snacks to bake and books to read.

I didn’t even celebrate these holidays with her during her first year, but only because she literally couldn’t do much. But now that she’s 2 (a toddler omg) the things we get to do are so much fun. I love to watch her imagination run wild!

For St. Patrick’s Day I have created a few different printables that you can download for free below and a fun sensory bin! All of these are totally possible to do while staying under $10! Doing activities like these also help us BIG TIME with screen time (win-win)!

Shamrock Sun Catcher

This was so fun & easy to make!

This kept her very busy and we even made “clean up” into an activity because she thought the tissue paper was so fun!

The Shamrock Sun Catcher was so easy to create and honestly would’ve been even easier if I had different supplies on hand but a piece of printing paper, tissue paper and moving tape did the trick and it turned out perfect! Download the free shamrock cut-out below! Use it as a coloring sheet or cut it out like I did. To make the sun catcher 1) cut out the shamrock 2) turn paper face down and tape moving tape face down 3) flip over and let your toddler get to creating

St. Patty’s Day Matching

These are obviously much much cuter in color but I’m working with what I’ve got on hand at the moment! Good news, you can download them for free and print them in color so there’s lot of vibrant greens happening! Matching is such a great activity for toddlers to do regularly and Brynleigh really enjoyed this one. Her favorite ones to match were the trucks!

Sensory Bin

I have been a big fan of sensory bins lately and this one was perfect. I saved a little dish bowl from a chocolate mousse to be her “pot of gold” (I was going to paint it black but never got to it), grabbed some gold coins from the dollar tree, use my scoop from my 1Up Nutrition greens and some Rice Krispies as my filler! I got my bin from Hobby Lobby for $3 and it’s the perfect size for her and for storage!

Simple and cute is what I like best! I’ll be able to treasure these little crafts she made when she was a toddler, stay under a $10 budget and make the best memories together (priceless!)
