The Best Banana Muffins
You ever find yourself throwing out those bananas that didn’t get eaten? I used too but now I impatiently wait for my bananas to ripen so I can make these delicious banana muffins!
I’ve always had a love for baking (not cooking) and in 2023 I found the kitchen to be my happy place. Baking goods for my loved ones brings me so much joy. If you’re ready to become confident in the kitchen and start baking from scratch, this recipe is the perfect place to start! It’s delicious and easy.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F and line muffin tray.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon and salt together. Set aside.
Whisk together sugar, egg, mashed bananas, melted butter and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir until mixed well.
Scoop batter into muffin tray. I like to use a cookie scoop so they’re all the same size.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
